WBSSC (West Bengal School Service Commission) exams will be conducted in the month of December by West Bengal School Education Board. Around 15,000 candidates will fill the vacant teachers seats all over the West Bengal.
Because National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has made compulasry to pass the TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) exam for anyone who is willing to become a teacher. This exam is conducted by the state
School Education Board of West Bengal likely to change the examination pattern. They will conduct West Bengal Teachers Eligibility Test or WB TET. The candidates who will score minimum 60% in WB TET are only eligible to sit in WBSSC.
West Bengal School Education Board has decided not to take TET exam this year. So, candidates are not required to conduct the TET exam this year to sit in the WBSSC examination. West Bengal School Education Board may conduct WB TET exams from the next year.
