ICC’s 11th edition of cricket world cup is just few weeks away and cricket lovers are predicting top candidates to win 2015 Cricket world cup. Winner of tournament will be decided on 29 March 2015 at Melbourne Cricket Stadium as stadium is hosting world cup final. Teams like India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka are getting good support for winning world cup and cricket fans will be waiting to watch a dream final.

There are certain team combinations that I have picked for the finals and one of these could be the dream final of 2015 ICC world cup.

Australia-South Africa

Australia and South Africa’s meet up in the 2015 cricket world cup final can be one the best world cup finals ever. Australia has won 4 world cups in tournament’s history whereas South Africa still looking to play a world cup final. Whenever these two sides meet on cricket field, cricket match becomes very interesting and it goes to the last over many times. South Africa vs Australia battle is always a big match for cricket fans.

History between Aus

tralia-South Africa also shows the contest in these two sides. Who can forget 434 runs successfully chased by South Africa against Australia. In overall ODI record both teams have played 88 matches in which Australia has got little bit edge over South Africa as Ausies have won 46 games whereas Proteas won 39 matches. In November 2014 bilateral series Australia beat South Africa by 4-1 in One Day series.

Australia are in group A of world cup in which they will face New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Scotland and Afghanistan in pool games. South Africa to play India, Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland and UAE in pool B matches.

India-Australia

India and Australia battle on cricket field has been one of popular battles in cricketing world. After 2003 cricket world cup final whenever these two sides are on ground, interest becomes more exciting. Even Australia’s former skipper Ricky Ponting has said that India-Australia will be a dream final of cricket world cup 2015.

Australia-England

England are not favori

tes to win 2015 world cup but if they qualify for finals it will be great achievement for them. And it will be a wondering final if they meet arch rivals Australia on 29 March 2015 at

Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australia and England have been arch rivals for a long period of time

. Both teams have faced each other in 127 matches till now and Australia has won 73 matches. England cricket team has won 49 games against Kangaroos.

It will be great to see these two sides in a world cup final of 2015. Already one official game is declared by ICC in the schedule of world cup 2015 for these two sides. Australia to play England in the second match of cricket world cup on 14th February at Melbourne.

India-Pakistan

The biggest cricketing battle is on when India and Pakistan are up against each other. And it will be a great finale of 2015 ICC cricket world cup if these two sides meet on 29 March at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Both teams have met many times in world cups before and it is sad for Pakistan that they never beat India in a world cup game. India vs Pakistan match is always special and it is more than a match as emotions of billions are attached with it.

Arch rivals India and Pakistan will play one scheduled game already in world cup as ICC has scheduled Pakistan vs India match for 15th February at Adelaide. Hope to see another match between these two sides and it will be awesome if it will be a final. If it happens it will be a dream final.

In this post I have mentioned my views on possible dream finals of 2015 world cup. What do you think which two team will make entry in final that makes it a dream final.
