Samsung Galaxy S 2 launched at World Mobile Congress 2011
The Samsung Galaxy S II is finally a reality. The successor to the famous Galaxy S has a 4.3 inch screen with Super AMOLED Plus technology and has a 1GHz dual-core processor manufactured by Samsung itself . Its operating system is Gingerbread (Android 2.3), adorned by the magic of the famous TouchWiz interface 4.0, which will be responsible for operating many of its other interesting features: HSDPA +, NFC , WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, 8 MP camera with recording capability at 1080p, AllShare technology and gyroscope.
Its only 8.49 mm thin. It will give a tough competition to other Android phones with dual core high power processor.
The Galaxy S 2 will probably be a competitor with Iphone 5, as it looks so much more powerful than the iPhone 4, especially its camera and dual-core processor.
With an eye to corporate clients Samsung has put in Microsoft Exchange Activesync, encryption facility strong security features.
For its encryption power, Webex possibilities, calls through WiFi Samsung has teamed up with Cisco, for its Cisco Mobile for Android.
